Hey there - I'm Nick!

I think I could add a ton of value to your Company. I'm a multifaceted problem-solver, a data-driven visionary, and most importantly, a passionate learner who will stop at nothing to help your business solve problems and reach new heights of success.

My Background

I spent two years at Clarkson University studying computer engineering and found it to be less exciting than I had imagined. I found digital marketing while at school and began falling in love with the customer journey and acquisiton process. With both an engineering perspective and a creative backround, I began to see the marketing process and sales process as a system - or a machine. With every touchpoint there is a percentage of people who take an action. Whether it is percentage of people clicking on an Ad, booking a call, or showing for the call, there are systems to be build to increase the conversions between touchpoints. It's kinda like plugging the holes in a bucket.

My Skillset

I am completely self-taught as I had never gone to any university for marketing or communications.

However, I believe I have had a learning experience that is very unique.

I like to stay up to date with where the industry is headed, what strategies are working, and what tactics are used to solve specific problems.

I am also a fanatic when it comes to building automated processes for mundane tasks.

I started off with learning to build websites, initially with HTML and CSS to understand the basics.

Then I started using other website builders like

Shopify, Squarespace, Wordpress, Webflow, Systeme.io, and GoHighLevel.

I had also taken a course on website design and UX/UI design using Figma.

Of course it has been rather difficult to land an internship or job at this point with no traditional schooling, so I tried putting my skills to use. I hit the sandbox!

I leveraged my artistic ability and designed a clothing brand in the surfing niche. I learned a ton about building a shopify storefront, adding products, sourcing for print on demand, and running Facebook Ads.

I found one winning ad, however the margins were tight and I wanted to bring the product development in-house, which of course, cost money.

I didn't have much money at the time.

And I certainly didn't want to take on any debt either.

I put the clothing brand on hold while I came up with a better strategy.

In that time, I searched for service-based models to generate some revenue with less upfront costs.

So, I studied.

After reading Russel Brunson's book, Dotcom Secrets and Expert Secrets, I then moved on to learning about

product-sales funnels,

VSLs,

Webinar Funnels,

optin pages,

and lead magnets.

This led to understanding

contact management,

sales pipelines,

email marketing,

and copywriting.

I then took a Hubspot Digital Advertising Course and recieved a certificate.

I spent an entire year learning from Alex Hormozi, like everyone else on the internet at that point. I listened to every single one of his podcast episodes from The Game (up to that point in time), which was over 10,000 minutes! I took notes on the episodes I found most useful, and I then started reading his book, Gym Launch Secrets.

In the book he taught how to launch gyms before they had opened, and explained his tactics on how to run a better/profitable gym.

I had also read his two books, $100M Offers, and $100M Leads to gain a solid foundation in marketing.

After learning so much more about the entire acquisition process, I began helping a friend launch his online fitness coaching offer.

I helped him find his target market, design a content strategy, create Facebook follower ads and re-targeting ads, set up a community, create an email workflow to send out a 14-day challenge as a lead magnet (one module each day), and deliver a large group coaching offer.

I automated as much as possible with email/SMS workflows, Zapier, and notifcations, we were able to create a marketing system that is manageable for him as a solopreneur.

My Ask

I would like to ask you for an opportunity to work with you and see if there are any ways that I can add value to your business.

If we find that there is a fit for me anywhere in your business, I would happily work to learn.

If not, that's totally fine.

Thank You!
